Sign of the Week

Meet Afonso, Gustavo, Olivia and Hallie

At Bowmansgreen, we are fortunate to have a wonderfully diverse community of children, and we take great pride in celebrating this diversity. One of the most exciting ways we do this is through our Sign of the Week initiative! Each week, some enthusiastic children from our school select a sign from British Sign Language (BSL) to share with their peers. This delightful project not only encourages communication and understanding but also fosters a sense of belonging among everyone at Bowmansgreen. Join us in learning these signs and embracing the rich tapestry of cultures that make our school truly special!

Sunshine Room

Our sign of the week was chosen by our Signing Crew, which is 'Sunshine Room'. Some children in our signing crew spend some of their break or lunch times in the Sunshine Room and so they are very excited to share the signs with you.
